Yeah, there seriously are a TON of them out there. Some sites around the web have pretty decent lists, but it makes it tough to keep one resource truly updated!
A good list of sites! I would certainly say you will jhave just as much luck on those as some of the pay sites. However, HornyDevilDating makes a good point about those who have paid for a membership are more likely to make an effort. Again though, some of the pay sites do use some very dubious tactics (for example, fake profiles) to dupe folks into joining - usually men, as most of the sites have free membership for women.
My biggest gripe is they are not clear about the ratio of men to women on their sites, with some of them being hundreds of men members for each lady member - what are the chances of actually getting noticed!
However, to get a more equal ratio you really have to pay for it - up to £119 a month!
